Rosiglitazone and chloroquine maintain potency and efficacy despite β-adrenoceptor desensitization. Slices were incubated overnight with vehicle (0.1% water) or albuterol (ALB, 100 μM). Airways were then pre-contracted with 100 nM methacholine (MCh) prior to addition of 10 μM ALB and concentration response curves to rosiglitazone (RGZ) or chloroquine (CQ).
